Tortoise Owners Pick Up Their Pet

Holtville City workers stumbled upon a lost tortoise around the corner of 8th Street and Chestnut Avenue on Tuesday. The lonely Tortoise was taken to the Holtville Civic center for safe keeping. We received an e.mail from Alex Meyerhoff, Holtville’s City Manager, letting us know of the find.
We went over to the civic center and took a photo of the lost soul and posted it on holtvilletribune.com and on our Holtville Tribune Facebook page.
We are happy to report that the owners of the lost tortoise have claimed their pet and it is now safe at Home
