Holtville Car Club Brings Out The Classics And More
For the first time in four years, participants and spectators at the Holtville Car Show were greeted with perfect weather.
Clear skies, no wind and abnormally cool temperatures made for a perfect day to walk around Holt Park and enjoy the wide variety of vehicles that came from near and far for the fourth annual event. From nearly 100-year old classics to modern day marvels of technology and everything in between, there was something for everyone.
The event was organized by the hosting Holtville Car Club.
Lupe Gonzalez won the Best In Show Trophy, with his classic 1956 Chevrolet 210. He is from Indio and is a member of the City Cruisers club.
The Sheriff’s Choice award went to Oscar Rodriguez, a solo entry with his 1948 Plymouth Deluxe from El Centro.
The Drifters Car Club is a local group and won the trophy for most members attending.
